Here are medals and decorations, some of which have been awarded to members of the Association.

Orders and Campaign Medals of the Republic of Croatia


The Grand Order of Queen Jelena
Amongst civilian criteria, awarded to soldiers in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia for their exceptional contribution to the development of war strategies and military doctrine of merit to the development of the Croatian Armed Forces and for particular success in leading and commanding formations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia.

Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for the demonstration of outstanding bravery and heroism in war, the direct threat of war, or in exceptional circumstances in peace.

This is Croatias highest bravery award.

Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for courageous action in war, the direct threat of war, or in exceptional circumstances in peace.

This is Croatiaメs second highest bravery award.

The Order of Ban Jelacic
Awarded to senior officials, officers and commanders of formations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary military merit in its establishment and development and for the exceptional and effective command of its formations.

The Order of Peter Zrinski & Francis Christopher Frankopan with Gilt Plaitwork
Posthumously awarded to the families of Croatian and foreign citizens who, symbolised forever in honourable remembrance, fell in battle for the Croatian State in war, the direct threat of war, or in exceptional circumstances in peace.

The Order of Peter Zrinski & Francis Christopher Frankopan with Silver Plaitwork
Awarded, in their absence, to the families of Croatian and foreign citizens who disappeared in the course of the War for the Homeland.

9,940 with gilt or silver plaitwork have been awarded.

The Order of the Croatian Cross
Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens who were badly wounded taking part in the War for the Homeland.

This has been likened to the United Statesメ Purple Heart. Medals are awarded to persons classified as 60% permanently disabled and above.

Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for extraordinary merit won for the Republic of Croatia in war, the direct threat of war, or in exceptional circumstances in peace.

Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for their extraordinary contribution to the development and reputation of the Republic of Croatia and the well being of her people and citizens.

Awarded to Croatian and foreign citizens for participation in the War for the Homeland as volunteers, soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia or on other manner of work.
