Brian (last name unknown)Nineteen year old Brian came to Bosnia around 1993 and joined the Viking vod (platoon) of the King Tomislav Brigade, HVO the Bosnian-Croat Army. One night Brian was on guard duty with a British volunteer known only as "Martin" and another soldier. "Martin" took the pistol of the other soldier and held it to the back of Brian's head and pulled the trigger. He stated afterwards that he had wanted to "frighten" Brian by means of the Dane hearing the clicking sound of the trigger being pulled. Of course, the pistol was loaded because they were in a combat area. Brian was shot and killed. The Briton's subsequent fate is unknown.
